2016-2017 Badminton Season

Welcome to all new and returning members to the 2016-2017 Peterborough Badminton Club! Enjoy playing with an open and welcoming club whose motto is Badminton – a way of life!

For all new members the club has a first night is always free to see how you like it policy. Feel free to invite a friend or colleague to see the benefits of being a member of our club and badminton community.  With this in mind, we have attached a general poster that you can feel free to send electronically or print and post, if you wish.

Below, you will find the names and contact information of this year’s executive, who look forward to meeting you and will be happy to address any questions, concerns, or suggestions you may have. 

Again this year, the PBC will offer all levels of play, ranging from the fun Halloween, Holiday, and Valentine tournaments, to the three competitive tournaments: the 11th annual province-wide Peterborough Open on November 12, 2016, the Junior Peterborough Open event on January 14 and 15, 2017, and the year-end club tournaments in March and April.

Nylon and feather shuttles are available at cost for purchase from the club executive. The club will provide nylon shuttles for club tournaments, and all junior play. Adult members should bring a shuttle to each game they play during regular club nights. Yonex Mavis 350 or equivalent shuttles are the official nylon shuttle of the PBC.

Please note – Sometimes, there will be nights with no play because of holidays, exams and other commitments of the facility. These nights will be posted and announced in advance at the club.
